Amit Y. Schwartz, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at New York City-based Maimonides Spine Center.
Dr. Schwartz serves as the chief of neurosurgery at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. He treats brain and spinal tumors, herniated discs and back pain. Dr. Schwartz received his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City and underwent fellowship training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Dr. Schwartz is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He has published various research papers and book chapters and received the Alpha Omega Alpha Award.
