Robert Masson, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon and founder of the Masson Spine Insitute in Orlando, Fla.

Dr. Masson serves as the director of the Orlando Health Central Hospital Joint Commission-accredited Spine Center of Excellence. He specializes in complex spinal disorders and spinal sports medicine. Dr. Masson only uses microsurgical and minimally invasive techniques in his practice.

He received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He underwent skull base surgery and neurotology fellowship training at House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Masson has performed over 13,000 microsurgical spine procedures and several thousand microsurgical minimally invasive lumbar spinal reconstructions and revisions. He has treated over 2,000 cervical arthroplasty patients.

Dr. Masson pioneered intervertebral microsurgical access surgery for lumbosacral spinal reconstruction. He serves as the medical director for Growing Bolder, a Bolder Broadcasting company. In his spare time, Dr. Masson enjoys motorsports.
