Jae Y. Lim, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Vienna, Va.-based Atlantic Brain and Spine.
Dr. Lim specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery. He is the chief of neurosurgery trauma at Reston (Va.) Hospital Center and serves as an assistant clinical neurosurgery professor at the Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lim received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn., and completed fellowship training at the UC Los Angeles Medical Center. He also underwent complex spinal surgery fellowship training at the Los Angeles-based Cedar-Sinai Institute of Spinal Disorder.
He has performed more than 100 MIS surgeries using Mazor Robotics' technology. Dr. Lim is a past president of the Korean American Spine Society and the only member of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery in northern Virginia.
