Geoffrey Martha, CEO of Dublin, Ireland-based Medtronic
- Geoffrey Martha was named CEO of Medtronic in April 2020, according to Medtronic's website.
- He previously held positions as president of Medtronic, led the company's Restorative Therapy Group and was senior vice president of strategy and business development, according to his LinkedIn.
- Mr. Martha serves on the boards of Minneapolis-based Children's HeartLink and Northside Achievement Zone, nonprofits supporting children. He studied at Pennsylvania State University.
Kevin Lobo, chair and CEO of Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Stryker - Kevin Lobo has been CEO of Stryker since October 2012 and joined as chair of the board in 2014, according to the company website. He was previously group president of orthopedics.
- He's also chair of the Advanced Medical Technology Association board and is on the board of directors for Parker Hannifin Corp.
- Mr. Lobo received his MBA from the University of Toronto, according to his LinkedIn. According to MoneyInc, he's fluent in French and English.
Alex Gorsky, CEO and chair of the board of directors of New Brunswick, N.J.-based Johnson & Johnson
- Alex Gorsky was named CEO and chair of Johnson & Johnson in 2012; he's one of seven leaders who have served the dual role since 1944, according to the company website. He started as a sales representative with Janssen Pharmaceutica in 1988.
- Johnson & Johnson has become an industry leader under Mr. Gorsky's tenure, the company website said.
- He studied in the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, served six years in the Army and received his MBA at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in Philadelphia, the company site said.
Patrick Miles, CEO and chair of Carlsbad, Calif.-based Alphatec Spine
- Patrick Miles has been chair and CEO of Alphatec since October 2017, according to the company website.
- Previously, he was the vice chair of NuVasive, Alphatec's website said. In that role, he enhanced the company's strategy for the future of spine surgery and technology development. He also worked at Manassas, Va.-based medical device company ORATEC Innovations and Medtronic Sofoamor Danek.
- Mr. Miles studied at Mercer University in Macon, Ga., according to his LinkedIn.
David Demski, president and CEO of Audubon, Pa.-based Globus Medical
- David Demski was named president and CEO in August 2017, according to Globus Medical's website. He was previously CFO, and before joining Globus Medical, he founded Cornerstone Capital LBO Fund, a leveraged buyout consultancy.
- His resume also includes COO of Rendall and Associates, regional and international manager for Domino's Pizza and audit supervisor for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.
- He received an MBA from Stanford (Calif.) Graduate School of Business.
