Robert Banco, MD, is a spine surgeon at Boston Spine Care Group.
He received his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Mass. He's also an associate clinical professor at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
Dr. Banco's research interests include the outcomes of lumbar fusions, cervical and lumbar interbody fusion devices, and image-guided surgery.
Dr. Banco has received multiple awards, including a top doctor honor by Boston Magazine, since 2018. He's a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, New England Spine Study Group and North American Spine Society.
