Ched Nwagwu, MD, is a spine and neurosurgeon at White Plains-based Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York.
He's an expert in skull-base and cerebrovascular surgery and his interests include treatment of complex intracranial and spinal pathology. He also has interest in minimally invasive and open spine surgery, spinal disorders and trauma.
Dr. Nwagwu received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla.
Outside of work, he is an accomplished pianist and organist. He's a two-time winner of the Brooklyn Arts Council Piano Competition and has performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
