Two World Wrestling Entertainment stars said they had spine surgeries since May 12, and both were performed by Andy Cordover, MD, of Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala.
1. Robert Roode had his second spine surgery in a year, according to a May 12 Instagram post. Mr. Roode had a C4-5 cervical fusion to go with a C5-6 fusion that he had in November, the post said.
2. Adam Scherr had a one-level cervical spine fusion, according to a June 2 Instagram post. In May, Mr. Scherr was sidelined with an undisclosed injury, Wrestling Inc. reported.
