Neurostimulation technology innovator BackStop Neural has appointed neurosurgeon Steven Falowski, MD, to its advisory board, according to an Aug. 15 press release sent to Becker's.
Dr. Falowski is a leader in neurosurgery and neuromodulation, and will help BackStop Neural in its commitment to creating cutting-edge solutions that help patients suffering from chronic pain.
He currently sits on the boards of the International Neuromodulation Society and the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, and is director of functional neurosurgery at Neurosurgical Associates of Lancaster (Pa.). He is also an education director for multiple societies focused on the growth and proper training of physicians in the neurosurgery space.
In his role, Dr. Falowski will collaborate with BackStop's leadership team to provide guidance on product development, clinical trials and overall strategy.
