Sigurd Berven, MD, was added to NovApproach Spine's board of managers, the medtech company said Oct. 12.
NovApproach developed the OneLIF interbody spinal fusion system, and Dr. Berven was the first to use the implant, according to a news release. In his role, he will support commercialization of the device.
Dr. Berven is chief of spine surgery and a professor at the University of California San Francisco.
