Mobile, Ala.-based Gulf Orthopaedics and Infirmary Health added the Intracept spine procedure, Gulf Coast Media reported Jan. 10.
Leslie Rush, III, DO, of Gulf Orthopaedics, performed the Gulf Coast region's first Intracept case at Infirmary Health’s Daphne (Ala.) Surgery Center, the report said.
Itracept is a minimally invasive spine procedure for vertebrogenic pain, a form of chronic low back pain.
