Spine surgeon William Kunkle, DO, joined Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Florida Healthcare and will work at three of its hospitals.
Dr. Kunkle will see patients at Atlantis-based HCA Florida JFK Hospital, West Palm Beach-based HCA Florida JFK North Hospital, and Loxahatchee-based HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, according to a Feb. 1 announcement in South Florida Hospital News.
He previously worked at Fort Wayne (Ind.) Orthopedics, where he helped implement augmented reality-assisted spine surgery and the prone transpsoas technique for minimally invasive surgery.
