Andrew Cordover, MD, performed spine surgery on Todd James Smith, a WWE wrestler who works under the name Ivar.
Dr. Cordover performed the surgery at Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Ala., the orthopedic practice said in a May 17 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Mr. Smith is on the Viking Raiders WWE team, and it isn't known how long his recovery will take, Wrestling Headlines reported May 17.
