Alexander Tuchman, MD, was named co-director of Cedars-Sinai Spine Center in Los Angeles, according to an Aug. 14 news release.

Dr. Tuchman will join co-leader David Skaggs, MD, in the role. Dr. Tuchman specializes in adult spinal deformities and is an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai. He is also involved with research looking into spine surgery patient outcomes.

"I have enjoyed partnering with Dr. Tuchman in research, educating the next generation of spine surgeons, and in the operating room," Dr. Skaggs said in the release. "It takes a comprehensive team including both neurosurgical and orthopedic spine expertise to build on our foundation of leading-edge research while at the same time providing the highest-quality clinical care."
