10 spine surgeon moves in September

Here are 10 spine surgeons who moved to new practices or added to their titles in September:

1. Jonathan Sherman, MD, was named chief of neurosurgical oncology at Rutgers Cancer Institute in New Brunswick, N.J.

2. Carmel, Ind.-based Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine added spinal neurosurgeons Miracle Anokwute, MD, and Paul Page, MD.

3. Dallas-based Texas Spine Consultants added Haariss Ilyas, MD.

4. Neurosurgeon Kevin Foley, MD, was named chief medical officer of True Digital Surgery.

5. The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka added spine surgeon Olusegun Onibonoje, DO.

6. Tallahassee (Fla.) Orthopedic Clinic has added orthopedic spine surgeon Mark Woernle, MD.

7. D. Scott Kreiner, MD, became the new president of the North American Spine Society.

8. Lynchburg-based OrthoVirginia added Cameron Murphy, MD.

9. Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group added Ezriel Kornel, MD.
