San Antonio-based Victory Medical Center recently named Karl Swann, MD, medical director at Victory Medical Center Landmark.
Dr. Swann has been with the medical center since 2012. He is a board certified neurological surgeon and is a member of Neurological Associates of San Antonio. He also serves as clinical assistant professor for the Center of Neurological Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center and was appointed to the Texas Medical Board by Gov. Rick Perry.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Swann developed a patented technique for aspirating bone marrow from the cervical vertebral body.
