The AOSpine Foundation and Thieme Publishing Group have published the first volume in the AOSpine Masters Series.
The first volume provides expert guidance on treatment decisions and best practices for providing care for metastatic spine tumor patients. The book includes the expertise of oncologists, radiology interventionalists and master spine surgeons. Ziya L. Gokaslan, MD, director of the neurosurgical spine program and vice chair of the department of neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, is one of the authors.
The AOSpine Masters Series addresses current clinical issues and incorporates spine specialists' expertise and recommendations on a particular topic.
