Reston, Va.-based Virginia Spine Institute added spine surgeon Ehsan Jazini, MD, to its team.

1. Dr. Jazini specializes in neck and back conditions, including scoliosis and kyphosis correction, revision surgeries and traumatic injuries.
2. He underwent training in spinal neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery at the Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, Ky.
3. He has published more than 25 peer reviewed articles, 10 book chapters and conducted more than 70 international podium presentations.
4. Currently, Dr. Jazini serves as editor for the Spinal Research Foundation's quarterly publication.
5. Dr. Jazini also is a primary investigator in multicenter clinical trials. He developed a minimally invasive screw placement for patients designed to reduce radiation exposure.
