Here are five spine practices to know:

American Center for Spine and Neurosurgery (Libertyville, Ill.): The American Center for Spine and Neurosurgery specializes in minimally invasive techniques, serving more than 4,000 patients from around the world. 

NeuroSpine (Eugene, Ore.): NeuroSpine was founded in 2006 by Catherine Gallo, MD, and Christopher Miller, MD, to bring the Southern Willamette Valley a specialized clinic for neurosurgical spine care. The practice includes the Two Rivers Surgery Center.

Oklahoma Spine Hospital (Oklahoma City): The Oklahoma Spine Hospital was built in 1999 as one of the nation's first physician-owned spine specialty hospitals. 

Spine Associates (Houston): Spine Associates is led by Richard Francis, MD, who is one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to perform an artificial disc replacement and robotic-assisted spine surgery. The practice has a second location in Beaumont, Texas.

Spine Institute of Louisiana (Shreveport): The Spine Institute of Louisiana has six physicians on staff who perform a variety of spine procedures, including revision spine surgery and sacroiliac joint fusion. The practice is often involved in the testing of new spine surgery devices for product manufacturers and the FDA.
