New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian received a $50 million donation to expand its Och Spine program.

The donation from the Jane and Daniel Och Family Foundation will establish more Och Spine facilities in the region, including in underserved communities, according to a May 11 news release.

An outpatient center will be built in the Hudson Yards neighborhood for nonoperative spine care and is set to open in 2023. The gift will also support a new inpatient unit for spine care at New York City-based Weill Cornell Medical Center and expansion of spine services at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, N.Y.

Jane and Dan Och also donated $25 million in 2017 to build NewYork-Presbyterian Och Spine Hospital.
