Atrium Health Wake Forest (N.C.) Baptist has opened a new orthopedic and spine care center — Orthopedics & Spine Care - Medical Plaza Miller — that will be led by David O'Brien, MD, a spine specialist board-certified in physical medicine and rehab, pain medicine and sports medicine.
The new center will not offer surgical treatments but will function as a starting point for spine care.
"Our nationally renowned team is dedicated to providing convenient access to those who are suffering from spine, back, neck and joint pain," Dr. O'Brien said in a Sept. 14 press release.
Dr. O'Brien is also an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
