Marc Philippon, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., performed hip surgery on Vancouver Canucks goaltending prospect Eddie Lack, according to a report from The Star Phoenix. Mr. Lack was initially diagnosed with a hip flexor injury and underwent surgical repair. He is expected to return to play for the 2013 preseason.
