Robert Thompson, MD, is scheduled to perform shoulder surgery on New York Mets Pitcher Shaun Marcum, according to a Fox Sports report.
The right-handed starting pitcher was diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome.
Dr. Thompson will perform the surgery in St. Louis.
