David S. Jevsevar, MD, has been named vice chair of orthopedics and director of the Arthritis Center at Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock, which will soon be developed, according to a Valley News report.
Dr. Jevsevar will start at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in October. He currently serves as medical director of orthopedic clinical program development for Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare. He has previously served as chief of orthopedics and chief of surgery for the U.S. Air Force, based at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.
Dr. Jevsevar is chairman of the Evidence Based Quality and Value Committee of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, where he is also chairman of its Clinical Practice Guideline Workgroup on the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis, according to the report.
