Orthopedic surgeon Michael Schutte, MD, announced he will retire after 30 years in practice, according to a Missoulian report.
Dr. Schutte practices at Northern Rockies Orthopedics in Missoula, Mont., and had a special interest in sports medicine and knee surgery. During his career, he's worked with NBA, Olympic gold-medalists and professional cyclists.
He has been chief of surgery and past president of the medical staff at Community Medical Center. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Louisiana State University and sports medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
