Norman Waldrop, MD, performed ankle surgery on University of Alabama men's basketball junior guard Retin Obasohan, according to a Decatur Daily report.
Dr. Waldrop is an orthopedic surgeon practicing with Birmingham, Ala.-based Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. He focuses on foot and ankle surgery. He performed arthroscopic surgery on Mr. Obasohan's left ankle, according to the report.
