Hospital for Special Surgery is planning a new office in Stamford, Conn., with renovations to the new space already under way.
New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery was founded in 1863 and is the nation's oldest orthopedic hospital. At the new Stamford office, there will be 12 to 15 staff members who provide multiple services focusing on sports medicine, foot and ankle and special procedures.
The new location will also offer urgent care and weekend hours. The new facility will be 14,000-square-feet to 18,000-square-feet.
Hospital for Special Surgery plans to open the largest spoke in Stamford with Greenwich offices relocating the first quarter of 2015.
