Gary S. Shapiro, MD, established Shapiro Sports Medicine, a specialty practice at Sarasota, Fla.-based Kennedy-White Orthopaedic Center, according to a report by The Bradenton Times.
Dr. Shapiro is a sports medicine-focused physician at Kennedy-White Orthopaedic Center, and he branded the sports medicine side of the practice. He has served as a team physician for numerous local high school athletic programs. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Stanford (Calif.) University, according to the report.
