PayScale released their list of the most meaningful jobs that also pay well, and orthopedists tied with two jobs for the top position, reports Forbes.
Workers in over 400 jobs from the Occupational Information Network were asked to provide data on their compensation and respond to questions regarding if their work makes the world a better place.
At the top of the list is a tie between orthopedic surgeon, police chief and youth minister. Orthopedic surgeons make a median income of $337,800 a year and 100 percent of orthopedic surgeons found strong meaning in their work.
