Jeffrey Dugas, MD, performed surgery on WWE's Braun Strowman, according to an ESPN report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Dugas, a surgeon with Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala., has performed surgery on several other WWE members, including Finn Balor.
2. Dr. Dugas performed surgery on Mr. Strowman last week in Birmingham to repair multiple injuries to his left shoulder and elbow.
3. Mr. Strowman injured himself in the ring while participating in Raw in London, during a sequence that included "multiple chair shots to Strowman's arm."
4. Mr. Strowman is expected to spend around six months recovering from surgery.
