New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees said NFL players are still reluctant to report concussions, the Sporting News reports.

Here's what you should know.

1. Radio Host Dan Patrick had Mr. Brees on his show after Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady's wife, said New England Patriots quarterback her husband has suffered numerous "unreported concussions throughout his career."

2. Mr. Brees said he wouldn't tell his wife if he sustained any concussions because "I wouldn't want her to worry."

3. The NFL has started a campaign to increase concussion awareness following the deaths of several prominent players, and a class action lawsuit several players have brought against the NFL.

4. Mr. Brees admitted to playing while concussed saying, "When you're in the heat of the moment, heat of the battle and it's competitive, you do not want to pull yourself out." He added the NFL does have concussion protocols and independent consultants that are constantly "looking."
