The NFL is sponsoring the 13th Annual Andrews Institute Injuries in Football Conference, May 3 to May 5 in Miramar Beach, Fla., presented by the Andrews Research & Education Foundation.
The conference offers attendees the latest information on patient care and innovation. It caters to athletic trainers, biomechanists, coaches, sports physicians and orthopedic surgeons, among others.
The conference will feature several notable physicians and sports medicine professionals including:
- Allen Sills, MD, the NFL's CMO
- James Bradley, MD, the Pittsburgh Steelers' head team orthopedic surgeon
- James Andrews, MD, founding partner of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine
- Mike Goodlett, MD, Auburn (Ala.) University's head team physician
- Jeff Allen, M.Ed., ATC, LAT, the associate athletic director for sports medicine at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa
