Dallas-based Children's Health opened the Specialty Center 2 on its Plano, Texas campus.
Here are four things to know.
1. The 203,000-square-foot, four-story facility includes the Children's Health Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, the Live Oak Surgery Center, Imaging Center and physician clinics.
2. The Imaging Center features the Siemens Skyra 3 Tesla MRI, fluoroscopy and EOS X-Ray Imaging System.
3. A 60-yard turf football field and running track attaches to a Children's Health Andrews Institute indoor training area and its performance training and injury prevention program, Sports Performance powered by EXOS.
4. The institute is the first pediatric organization to partner with EXOS, an international program that trains elite athletes.
