The University of Alabama at Birmingham Highlands Hospital opened a sports medicine clinic, AL.com reports.
Here are four things to know.
1. The clinic is designed for "mature young athletes and weekend warriors," including UAB athletes and others with acute general orthopedic injuries.
2. The clinic is located on the first floor of UAB Highlands Hospital.
3. It has seven exam rooms, as well as X-ray and ultrasound capabilities.
4. The clinic's staff members are Will Brabston, MD; Sara Gould, MD; Stephen Gould, MD; Kennieth McCollough Jr., MD; and Amit Momaya, MD.
