Obi U. Osuji, MD, joined OrthoAtlanta's orthopedic sports medicine group.

1. Dr. Osuji will practice general orthopedics and joint replacement at the practice's Gwinnett, Ga., and Johns Creek, Ga., locations. He focuses on treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
2. Dr. Osuji is an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeon, J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society and American Medical Association member.
3. Dr. Osuji said his goal is "to educate my patients about their orthopedic conditions and to provide thoughtful, patient-centered and evidence-based orthopedic care."
4. After receiving his medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif., Dr. Osuji completed a residency at Washington, D.C.-based Howard University Hospital. He was fellowship-trained at Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville, S.C.
