Shawn O'Driscoll, MD, and Joaquin Sanchez-Sotelo, MD, performed an arthroscopic surgery on Minnesota Timberwolves' guard Derrick Rose, the team reports.
What you should know:
1. Drs. O'Driscoll and Sanchez-Sotelo performed the surgery in collaboration with Team Orthopedic Surgeon Diane Dahm, MD.
2. Mr. Rose had a bone chip removed from his right elbow. He will be out indefinitely.
3. Drs. O'Driscoll, Sanchez-Sotelo and Dahm are all orthopedic surgeons at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
