Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed arthroscopic surgery on Charlotte Hornets center Bismack Biyombo's left knee.
Tennessee Volunteers linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. is being treated by James Andrews, MD, founding partner and medical director of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
Chris Ahmad, MD, examined New York Yankees pitcher Luis Severino, who has been on the injured list since early March with rotator cuff inflammation. Dr. Ahmad will also operate on Boston Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi's right elbow.
Keith Meister, MD, a Texas-based orthopedic surgeon, will perform knee surgery on Detroit Tigers pitcher Matt Moore. Dr. Meister also performed Tommy John surgery on San Diego Padres pitcher Anderson Espinoza and on the Texas Rangers' 2018 second-round draft pick, Owen White.
David Altchek, MD, performed shoulder surgery on Atlanta Braves pitcher Arodys Vicaíno.
Thierry Pauyo, MD, performed arthroscopic surgery on the left knee of Montreal Canadiens' Jesperi Kotkaniemi.
Greg Altman, MD, operated on Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Erik Gonzalez to repair his broken left collarbone April 25.
Bert Mandelbaum, MD, and Clint Soppe, MD, performed knee surgery on LA Galaxy midfielder Romain Alessandrini.
Marc R. Safran, MD, completed right knee surgery on U.S. tennis player Jared Donaldson at Stanford (Calif.) University Medical Center.
