NATA partnership connects athletic trainers with healthcare facilities during COVID-19

Orthopedic Sports Medicine

The National Athletic Trainers' Association partnered with mobile per-diem platform Go4Ellis to connect athletic trainers with understaffed healthcare facilities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Athletic trainers are healthcare professionals trained in several medical competencies, including triage, intake, patient care as well as assessment and sterilization.

Facilities in need of medical staff can use the free app to gain immediate access to athletic trainers.

As sports events across the country have been suspended due to COVID-19, thousands of athletic trainers are now available to join the fight against the pandemic.
