Randolph, Vt.-based Gifford Health Care onboarded Sarah Decker, DO, in August to lead its sports medicine team, VTDigger reports.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Decker has experience providing care for sports concussions and injuries, including cardiac arrest, cervical spine fracture and lumbar disc herniation.
2. She completed fellowships at TriHealth Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute in Cincinnati and at Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio.
3. Her professional memberships include the American Osteopathic Association of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and American Medical Association.
