Phoenix-based Banner Health unveiled plans Nov. 30 to develop an orthopedic sports medicine center in Scottsdale, Ariz., Phoenix Business Journal reports.
The 80,000-square-foot facility will include a surgery center, physical therapy, imaging and a concussion center.
Sports-related orthopedic care and athletic performance training will be provided at the center, which will work with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and the University of Arizona in Tucson.
The center is expected to open in late 2022.
