Keith Meister, MD, operated on Oakland A's pitcher Deolis Guerra, the team said April 13.
Mr. Guerra had Tommy John surgery on his right arm April 13 at Texas Metroplex Institute Surgical Center in Arlington. The procedure was completed without complications.
A timetable for the pitcher's recovery was not reported, but Mr. Guerra is expected to be out for the entire 2022 season.
