Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is partnering with the Chicago White Sox.
The multiyear agreement designates Rush as the team's official orthopedic provider, according to a May 9 news release. Rush will also provide the official team physicians for the White Sox.
"Rush is honored and excited to be the first official healthcare partner for the White Sox," Omar Lateef, DO, Rush University Medical Center president and CEO, said in the release. "Rush has been striving to improve the health of Chicagoland since we were established two days before the city of Chicago. We see a great opportunity to partner with the White Sox on a shared path to build healthier communities."
