Craig Mintzer, MD, operated on Orlando City SC midfielder Joey DeZart, the team said Aug. 3.
Mr. DeZart underwent a lateral knee hamstring repair at Orlando (Fla.) Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. He was injured in a match on July 17 and is expected to recover in 12 to 16 weeks.
Dr. Mintzer is the soccer club's chief medical officer.
