Neal ElAttrache, MD, operated on the New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, Newsday reported Aug. 16.
Mr. Wilson had an arthroscopic procedure in Los Angeles, and no additional damage was found, the report said. He needed to have his meniscus trimmed after suffering a tear in a preseason game Aug. 12.
A prognosis Aug. 13 said he could miss up to four weeks, but a timeline was not provided after surgery, according to the report.
