Shane Nho, MD, and Brian Forsythe, MD, performed hamstring surgery on Gastón Giménez of the Chicago Fire MLS team, OurSportsCentral reported Aug. 24.
Dr. Forsythe, the team's head orthopedics officer, and Dr. Nho, of Chicago-based Midwest Orthopedics at Rush, performed the surgery at the Rush Gold Coast Surgery Center in Chicago, the report said. The surgeons together performed a right proximal hamstring endoscopic tendon repair.
Mr. Giménez is expected to be in recovery for four months, the report said.
