John Danks, starting pitcher for the Chicago Sox, will undergo exploratory shoulder surgery, according to a Chicago Tribune report. Anthony Romeo, MD, and Greg Nicholson, MD, orthopedic physicians at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, will perform the procedure. Mr. Danks will be sidelined for the rest of the season and is expected to return in time for spring training.
