Scripps Clinic Surgeons Perform Knee Surgery on San Diego Padre Chase Headley

Orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians Jan Fronek, MD, Daniel Keefe, MD, and Heinz Hoenecke, MD, of the San Diego-based Scripps Clinic recently performed arthroscopic knee surgery on the San Diego Padres third baseman Chase Headley, according to a Sports Illustrated report.

The surgeons performed the surgery to address a torn medial meniscus in the player's left knee. The player is expected to need four to six weeks to recover from the procedure.
