Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia named James S. Raphael, MD, chairman of the department of orthopedics, according to a Philly.com report.
Dr. Raphael most recently served as associate chairman of the department. He has a professional interest in arthroscopy, microsurgery, replantation and free-tissue transfer.
Dr. Raphael also serves as director of the hand surgery program at the medical center, a role which he will continue, according to the report.
