Irvine, Calif.-based Hoag Orthopedic Institute's David Kruse, MD, has been named the athlete care coordinator for the USA Gymnastics Medical Task Force.
Dr. Kruse is a four-time member of the USA Gymnastics Senior National Team and will act as the primary liaison between the medical task force and USA gymnastics staff. He also serves as the primary staff representative for the Men's Gymnastics National Team.
Dr. Kruse focuses on non-operative orthopedics and sports medicine, general musculoskeletal care, sports concussion and general medical needs of the athlete.
