Jonathan Deland, MD, and Scott Ellis, MD, received the prestigious J. Leonard Goldner Award at the recent American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society annual meeting.
The award is for the outstanding research paper presented at the annual meeting. Drs. Deland and Ellis authored a study called, "Correlation of Postoperative Midfoot Position with Patient Outcomes Following Reconstruction of the Stage II Adult Acquired Flatfoot Deformity."
Both Dr. DeLand and Dr. Ellis provide care at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
