Richard Edelson, MD, performed ACL surgery on Portland Timbers midfielder Diego Valeri.

 

Hand and upper extremity surgeon Elliot Nacke, MD, joined Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Ill.

 

Eugene Bleck, MD, who established the orthopedics department at Stanford University School of Medicine, died of respiratory failure at age 91.

 

Amherst, N.Y.-based Excelsior Orthopaedics named Andrew Stoeckl, MD, president of the board of directors.

 

Hammond, La.-based North Oaks Orthopedic Specialty Center welcomed sports medicine specialist and orthopedic surgeon Katy Morris, MD.
